Product Features

SpeedBox 3.0 for Bosch is a revolutionary tuning kit which suppresses the speed limiter of your electric bike. After installing your SpeedBox, the display will show actual values such as maximum speed, average speed, distance travelled daily and range*. Once activated, the SpeedBox will enable you to reach speeds of up to 99km/h.

Which Speedbox do I need?

This tuning kit is compatible with all eBikes that have a Bosch motor manufactured from 2014-2020. Including all Performance, Active and CX models. 


Installation

Installation is easy, you just need to remove the cover from the motor and attach the connectors. You will need a basic toolkit, some bikes may require a crank puller.

Using your Speedbox

The Speedbox is simply activated/deactivated using your walk button. When using SpeedBox 3.0 with Bosch motors of the 4th generation (produced in 2020 or later) it is necessary to leave the bike on after finishing the ride until a value of 0.0 km/h is displayed. During this process the remaining time will be displayed in minutes. This process will take 2-3 mins, once complete it it is safe to turn off your bike. This is very important as it will prevent your bike from going into limp mode. 


Legal

Electric bikes equipped with tuning devices are not allowed to be used on public roads, cycling paths and public places. Electric bikes equipped with tuning products can be used exclusively on private property and entirely at one’s own risk. Under the EU's EN15194 regulation it is illegal to ride your eBike on public roads/cycle paths with a tuning device fitted.
